Call For Workshops
CSE 2021 calls for workshop proposals which will complement the research topics of the Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications. A workshop refers to an academic event in conjunction with CSE 2021, which can be a half-day or full-day symposium or workshop, or only a special session for two hours of discussion on a hot research topic. Each workshop will be expected to accept at least 6 papers. The CSE 2021 Workshops provide vibrant opportunities for academic researchers and industry practitioners to share their research experiences, original research achievements and practical development products on specific new challenges and emerging issues. The themes of the CSE 2021 Workshops should be related to the scopes of the CSE 2021 main conference, reflecting to advances in all aspects of the Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications. The organizers of the CSE 2021 Workshops shall have responsibility of soliciting call for papers, forming program committee on reviewing and selection of papers as well as planning workshop program. The registration fees for workshops will be determined by and paid to the main conference other than the workshops. The main conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, meeting rooms, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, proceedings, etc. The proceedings of the CSE 2021 Workshops will be published by IEEE Conference Publication Services (CPS) and appear in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, to be indexed by EI Compendex. Prospective Workshop Organizers should send a proposal containing the following information to CSE 2021 Workshop Chairs via email:
- Title of the workshop (Full name and Abbreviation) Approved workshops should strictly follow the Important Dates of the main conference, particularly the Author Notification Date and the Camera-ready Paper Due Date. The submission deadline could be later than that of the main conference. But, a workshop should have sufficient time, say 5-7 weeks, for generating peer reviews. Generally, each paper should receive 2 or 3 peer reviews. In order to encourage the workshop organisors, the main conference will also provide the following benefits to the workshop organisors: (1) If a workshop will have at least 10 full registrations for accepted papers (excluding those borderline papers transferred from the main conference), then one of the main organisors can choose either to waive one of his or her papers for registrations or to get the travel grant to attend the conference. (2) If a workshop will have at least 20 full registrations for accepted papers (excluding those borderline papers transferred from the main conference), then the main organisors can also invite one keynote speaker for the workshop and the conference will provide free registration and travel grant for the keynote speaker. Please email your workshop proposals in PDF format to: the CSE 2021, interconf_sau@googlegroups.com. Please use CSE 2021 workshop proposal as the email subject. Paper Submissions for accepted workshop should follow the same Paper Submission Guidelines for the main conference. The length of a workshop paper submission may be about 6 pages, or with 4 additional pages with pages overlength charge if accepted. Look forward to your stimulating proposals and contributions to CSE 2021 Workshops! |
